They were really nice to play with (nicer than today’s composites), but they had one drawback—they got heavy in the rain.Spalding created a leather treatment called “Pittards” that was much more weather resistant. The highest quality was the “Gold” ball.This is that ball. superb for everyday use. first-class materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
